The other day I had a great time with Madison during her Senior Portrait Session. It wasn’t as cold as we thought it would be, but she toughed it out nonetheless. Her outfit gave her a very undercover spy vibe, very strong and elegant! We began our session on top of the courtyard, using the gloomy sky to our advantage. This helped us get some great moody ports.

The sun opened up just a bit to give us some warmer colors while she was sitting on the steps.

This is perhaps my favorite shot in the set. Her hair flying away, strong posture and super feminine!

Once we wrapped up the courtyard we went downstairs where a patio with these nice columns was. I really love these photos!

Suddenly, the sun came out and gave us an opportunity to backlight Madison and use our strobe giving us some very epically lit shots!

Why do I use strobes for these portraits? One reason is the catchlight I get in the eyes. Do you see it?

We ended our session capturing as much of the sunset as we could. Madison was a real trooper, dealing with the cold and making it happen!

Are you looking for someone to do your Senior Portraits? I’d love work with you!
