Finding different ways to be artistic in photography can be very overwhelming. So many crazy talented artists are doing so many crazy creative things. I was in my house the other day and felt challenged to put something together on a super limited budget. I didn’t have any studio scrims or walls but I had a garage and found an old piece of foam-board with aluminum on one side. This gave me the perfect backdrop to have a dark and moody fashion shoot with Kelvina.

it had been a while since we’ve been able to work together. Getting back in the groove and doing a “End Of The Year” shoot was a ton of fun. The usual suspects showed up. I shot this session with my Sony A6500 and the Sony FE 85mm lens. Room was limited but all I needed was enough space to get some torso shots.

All of these images were edited in Lightroom and then touched up in Photoshop.

My lighting that was used in this session was the Flashpoint EV 200 two Godox V8600ii(S) speed-lights. My keylight (EV200) had a Glow 48 inch softbox and my speed-lights had colored gels to give us some differing lights.

It was a fun session and below is Kelvina closing it out in style!
